New to Button Making?

Here is what you need to get started

A basic button-making setup has three pieces: a press, a cutter, and parts. You can get all three for under $200 if you start with a 2.25" setup, which is the most common size and the easiest to find supplies for.

The press does the assembly. You load a shell, your printed graphic, a mylar cover, and a pin-back, then pull the handle. A circle cutter (or craft cutter like Cricut) trims your printed sheets into the right size circles.

For your first order, buy a starter kit that bundles the press with parts and a cutter. You will save money compared to buying each piece separately, and everything will be matched to the same button size.

Once you have equipment, the design side is free. ButtonMaker handles the template, bleed, and PDF layout so you can focus on the creative work.
